SINCE 1978

Dino Pavese, the founder of Gelati Dino, arrived in Empuriabrava in 1978 and created his first ice cream shop. It was something new: the Italian gelato tradition was different from the Spanish one, and the intense flavor of Dino’s gelato captivated locals and tourists alike.

Dino has always been a restless person, eager to do things right.

Even now, at over ninety years old, he remains involved in the company, inspiring us and keeping alive the values that guided him from the beginning.
