SINCE 1978

Dino Pavese, founder of Gelati Dino, arrived in Empuriabrava in 1978 and opened his first
gelateria. It was something new: Italian gelato tradition was different from the Spanish one,
and the intense flavour of Dino’s creations captivated both locals and tourists.

Dino has always been a restless soul, determined to do things well.
Even now, in his nineties, he remains involved in the company, inspiring us and keeping
alive the values that guided him from the very beginning.

Dino Pavese opens his first gelateria in Empuriabrava.
We begin to grow along the Costa Brava.
We open our first gelateria in Barcelona.
We inaugurate a new 5,000 m² production facility.
We expand outside Catalonia with openings in Zaragoza and Morocco.
We extend our headquarters with roasting rooms and dry base production.
We open stores in Madrid and Andalusia.
We open in Qatar and France, consolidating international growth.
