A family business

Dino Pavese, the founder of Gelati Dino, came to Empuriabrava in 1978 and set up his first ice cream parlour. It was a real novelty: the traditional Italian parlour was different to the Spanish one and the intense flavour of Dino’s gelato captivated tourists and residents in the area.

Dino has always been a conscientious person who likes to do things well. At over 80 years of age, he still maintains a presence in the company, inspiring us and keeping alive the values that drove him at the outset.
